Ongoing Academic Mentorship
For a small number of students, I offer longer-term academic mentorship. Ongoing mentorship is designed for students who benefit from continuity and a trusted external perspective.
This may include:
Regular check-ins around workload and deadlines
Support with planning essays and revision schedules
Developing independent study habits
Talking through academic challenges or blocks
Support during transition points (e.g. GCSE to A-level, A-level to university)
This is particularly helpful for students who are capable but prone to overwhelm, perfectionism, or self-doubt. Rather than focusing only on immediate outcomes, we work on:
Confidence
Perspective
Academic maturity
Self-trust
I work with a small number of students in this way to ensure consistency and quality.
Fees & Structure
Ongoing Academic Mentorship is offered on a monthly basis to support continuity and steady progress.
The guide fee is £395 per month, which typically includes:
Four one-to-one sessions per month (usually one session per week)
Priority scheduling to ensure consistency and flexibility around academic deadlines
Light ongoing email support throughout the month for brief questions, clarification, or check-ins
This structure is designed to provide regular, reliable support while allowing space for independent work between sessions.
Where appropriate, this format can be tailored to individual needs (for example, by adjusting the frequency of sessions or the level of ongoing support) and this is discussed during the initial consultation to ensure the arrangement is appropriate and sustainable.
